I finally made it to my parents’. Remember: my sock pal sent her package to their adress because things tend to get lost here at my place. So now at least my Sockapal-oooo-zas arrived safely by car. What can I say? I’m speachless. I feel soooo spoiled!

Inside the huge envelope there were ginger mints, some Sunny Seed Drops (hmmmmmmmm!), a nice letter, a postcard and some funny pictures of my socks on holidays at the Gulf of Mexico. And a whole skein of green Socks That Rock Yarn. AND a pair of wonderful socks in bright colours that fit perfectly. Weeeeeeeee! Waiting was worth it.

Nämlich meine Sockapal-oooo-za Socken. Die sind nämlich inzwischen da, allerdings nicht hier. Nachdem in der letzten Runde mein Päckchen völlig ohne Inhalt hier angekommen ist, habe ich mit meinem aktuellen Pal beschlossen, die Socken lieber zu meinen Eltern schicken zu lassen.

Da ist es inzwischen eingetroffen. Ich hatte bloß noch keine Zeit hinzufahren und es abzuholen. Schicken fällt naheliegender Weise ja aus.

I sent them out today. *phew* I have never been so late before.

This time it wasn’t easy to knit for my pal, so I decided to knit some plain and comfy socks I would wear with pleasure. I knitted my pal’s initials into the shaft of both socks to give them a little personal touch. I finally hope my pal is as happy with them as I would be … I just love the yarn and colour!

Facts: Regia Cotton India Colour # 4301, needles size 2.5 mm

Ja. Ich habe auch meinen Sockpal inzwischen ausfindig gemacht und konnte erfreut feststellen, dass es wohl wieder nicht allzu schwierig werden wird. Huzzah! Jetzt fehlt mir bloß noch der richtige Einfall.

Besonders nett finde ich, dass ich schon eine Mail von meiner Bestrickerin (das -in nehme ich zumindest an) bekommen habe.
